In March 2024, four students attended the Society for Affective Science Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. They had a wonderful time presenting their research, networking, and listening to lectures from amazing researchers from around the globe.
EJ Ulmer and Monty Armstrong presented their research poster titled “Emotion regulation predicts climate distress and climate action”.
Jenna Spencer presented her research poster titled “Effects of a brief emotion regulation intervention on emotion beliefs and emotion regulation flexibility”.
Amelia Branco and Hayleigh Armstrong presented their research poster titled “Effects of cognitive reappraisal and rumination on recognition memory for facial expressions of emotion”.
